Even when they get it out, they re still well short of the pin. The ensure that the ball gets up and gets going, the CG in the MacGregor EZ-OUT wedge is located low and deep in the club. This positioning creates the ideal vector of force to launch the ball upward and forward. Not just out of the sand, but hunting the pin. Variable Clubface Hardness High rebound properties. Remarkable distance and forgiveness. The EZ-OUT wedge is a sand wedge with maximum forgiveness. Induction heat treating the clubface creates a gradual and measured transition from harder center to softer perimeter. The result is a metal Trampoline that launches center shots faster and farther. Off-center shots rebound straighter, with less loss of distance. Even when you hit toward the toe, you ll still be on the green. Forged, Milled Carbon Steel Soft uniform metal. Maximum feel and control. Forging is a far more complicated process than casting, but the ends more than justify the means. Forging makes the metal purer and stronger. With forged 1025 carbon steel (a softer, low-carbon steel ), the EZ-OUT offers superb feel, especially in the sand. Precision CNC-engraved U-grooved scoring lines help create excellent spin to target the flag and hold the green. Super-Wide Radius Sole Low CG for high trajectory. In theory, bunkers shots are simple enough: Always enter the sand by making contact with the trailing edge first to force the leading edge down behind the ball. In practice, however, this theory is not easily applied by higher handicappers. Which is why the MacGregor EZ-OUT wedge, with its oversized back structure (a super muscle back) forces the trailing edge to make first contact. The super-wide radius sole easily cuts through sand (and fluffy lies around the green) and automatically lays the clubface into the perfect setup position for easy, high trajectory. Sand is just rough that you have to rake. Oversize Clubhead Larger sweet spot for more forgiveness. The oversize clubhead of the MacGregor EZ-OUT wedge frames the ball more than comfortably at address. The 100% brushed satin-nickel-chrome finish is as durable as it is beautiful, and the milled face (flat to within .001 ) has precision-engraved scoring lines to maximum depth and width.
